Our Senior Management Team

Daniel comes from an architectural background with an NVQ level 6 in Construction Management and over 20 years building experience.

As Grocott and Murfit, Daniel prides himself on the company’s approach to working in partnership with clients and the local community to deliver exceptional projects.

Jody has personally delivered several award-winning bespoke builds since the inception of Grocott and Murfit in 2007.

Jody is from a bricklaying background with over 30 years of building experience and several qualifications including SMSTS.

Jack has 7+ years’ experience in the industry and holds a First Class BSc (Hons) in Construction Management with a specialism in Quantity Surveying.

He has successfully delivered schemes across various sectors; High-end contemporary and period residential, Commercial, Education and Healthcare to a value of £6M.

Jack has experience in both pre-contract negotiations and appraisals and post-contract surveying, project delivery and overall commercial management.

Danny project manages all aspects of our mechanical, electrical and plumbing services.

He has 25 years industry experience working in the MEP sector and prior to that was in HM Army in the Corp of Royal Engineers.

Danny specialises in renewable technologies and energy-efficient MEP solutions.

Stephane brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, spanning large-scale commercial developments to high-end residential projects over the past nine years.

He also holds a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying. He has experience in high value projects of £8m+, large scale residential projects and one off high value residential projects.

He works closely with the preconstruction department, the design team and the project delivery team to ensure a successful delivery of the project.

With over two decades of experience in project management and construction, Justin has won multiple awards on domestic and private construction buildings.

He brings experience and knowledge in all aspects of building and construction, from carpentry, site management and now contracts management.

He holds NVW Level 6 Site Management and Contract Management and a HNC in Construction. He has experience with high value contracts to a value of £10M.

Rob has over 25 years of construction management experience bridging multiple sectors including private and public housing, public non-housing, commercial and repair and maintenance.

He trained in mechanical engineering and environmental science and has developed a wider understanding of contemporary sustainable construction methodologies.

Rob consistently delivers compliant projects safely, managing risks, budgets, logistics and resources. He has a history of high-end contracts up to the value of £85M.

Dan has 7+ years' experience in the construction industry, successfully managing projects across residential, healthcare, education, and commercial sectors.

His career has progressed from minor works to major contracts valued up to £8m, and holds a BSc (Hons) in Construction Management, alongside many other construction based qualifications.

Dan works closely with the whole team, from pre-construction through to handover, and beyond, with the sole focus to achieve project objectives, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

Danny is currently completing a Level 4 HNC in Construction Management while gaining hands-on experience as a Trainee Project Surveyor at Grocott & Murfit.

He spent eight months working on site, where he developed a strong foundation in construction processes and site operations.

This practical experience has given him valuable insight into the realities of project delivery and the collaborative nature of site teams.

Now based in the office, Danny supports both the project management and quantity surveying teams with day-to-day tasks, further developing his knowledge of cost control, procurement, and project coordination as he progresses in his career.

Mark has over 40 years in the industry working in building surveying, estimating, quantity surveying and project management roles.

The majority of his work has been involved with high end residential buildings in London and Norfolk. Mark is SMSTS qualified and has been with the company for nearly 10 years.

Michal has 9+ years of experience in the design and construction industry while maintaining his RIBA Chartered status since 2019.

He holds a broad portfolio of completed projects across all stages with a special interest in residential and listed buildings.

Michal collaborates with all members of the team ensuring fluent exchange of the design and technical information while supporting the on-site delivery of the projects.

Molly brings over a decade of experience in the architecture industry, balancing a full-time career with ongoing study throughout her professional journey.

She has successfully delivered projects across a variety of sectors, with a particular passion for residential heritage, unique grand-design homes, and architectural writing.

Graduating in 2009 with a BA Hons degree in Architecture, and an Associate member of CIAT.

Johnathon has worked locally in practices specialising in sustainable and residential design for both developers and homeowners looking for bespoke designs.

Rebecca has 9+ years of construction experience in Management, Sales, Procurement and Health and Safety.

Working closely with the management team and other team members Rebecca ensures that all aspects of the business are running efficiently.

Tommy has 10+ years’ experience working both in accountancy practice and industry.

He has a wealth of experience within the property sector, previously specialising in both residential and holiday let portfolios.

Tommy works closely with the management team and ensures the accurate tracking of the project financials alongside the day to day running of the finance function.

With 19 years of marketing experience, Sally works closely with the team to manage social media, the website, events, photography, and video.

She ensures Grocott and Murfit, along with its building projects, are beautifully presented and effectively shared.

Carly plays a central role in shaping the culture and cohesion of Grocott & Murfit. She ensures the business remains as strong internally as the projects it delivers externally.

Focused on people, wellbeing and engagement, she helps create an environment where the team can perform at their best and feel genuinely connected to the company’s values.

From supporting internal culture to coordinating events and initiatives that bring the business together, Carly is instrumental in maintaining the positive, collaborative atmosphere that underpins the company’s success.

Abi is our Workplace Wellbeing Consultant, providing confidential one-to-one wellbeing support to staff across the business.

She holds a BA (Hons) in Social Work and is a registered Social Worker with Social Work England, with over 25 years’ experience working with adults and children across the NHS and Children’s Services.

Abi offers counselling using a range of therapeutic approaches, providing a safe space to talk through challenges and access practical support as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting the wellbeing of its employees.

Our Site Management Team

Martin has been in the trade for 35 years starting out as a sub-contractor bricklaying on large sites, then working for a small family business specialising in barn conversions.

Martin joined Grocott & Murfit 9 years ago. He gets fully involved with all aspects of a build from start to finish.

He likes to take ownership of any job he is managing and he treats it as if it were his own.

Stuart has over 35 years of experience within the construction industry. Beginning as a City & Guilds carpenter/joiner, Stu has worked all over Europe & Australia on many multi-million-pound projects

Stu has now progressed into a Senior Site Manager role. Stu still enjoys to be hands on with the on-site trades and prides himself on his quality of workmanship and finish.

Gary completed an apprenticeship in City and Guilds Handmade Furniture 25 years ago, going on to work in super yachts and high-end residential furniture and joinery.

Due to his passion and attention to detail, he moved towards hands on management, getting the best of both worlds.

Over the years, Gary progressed from the workshop, taking his skills and knowledge onto site projects. Gary takes a lot of pride in his work; working to a high standard and loves the finer details, creating a quality finish.

Arron is a multi-skilled tradesman, but his main trade is bricklaying, which he has 20 years of experience in. He has now progressed into a Site Manager role, where he aims to deliver excellent quality projects.

Darren has 40 years experience within the building industry. He started off in the industry as a bricklayer. Darren mostly works on refurbishments and barn conversions which he loves.

Darren also has tickets in driving plant and machinery. Darren takes pride in his work making sure his site is safe, clean and tidy and that everything is completed to the highest standard and on schedule.

Rob has over 27 years of experience in the building trade, working on bespoke new builds and high-end renovations in the Norfolk area.

Rob always takes pride in delivering a high standard of work and a quality finish for our clients.

Rob has a City and guilds and an NVQ Level 3 in construction. Rob has been working for the past 8 years as a Site Manager.

With over 45 years in the construction industry, Michael has a NVQ Level 6 in construction management, SMSTS and holds a black CSCS Manager’s card.

He has spent the last 15 years in Senior Management, working on several award-winning sites across London with values more than £10million.

More recently, completing the fit out to Lotus cars prototype showroom at the Hethal headquarters and the glass atrium renovation at Norfolk Police Headquarters.

Michael is a time served carpenter and joiner. For over 20 years ran his own company designing, supplying and installing high end kitchens and bathrooms across London and the home countries. He then branched out into commercial fit out and major home renovations.

Michael has always taken great pride in his work. He has a high attention to detail and a can-do attitude.

Tim completed a college apprenticeship over 15 Years ago, where he achieved an NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry.

Since then, Tim has worked on many projects within the construction industry and has gained experience in both Domestic and Commercial schemes.

Whilst on projects Tim ensures he maintains stakeholder relationships and has a keen focus on Corporate Social Responsibilities.

Quality control, cost management and meeting deadlines are something that Tim always strives to achieve too.

Kamil Tomaszewski, is a multi-skilled carpenter by trade and has over 18 years’ experience in construction.

He has worked at Grocott &Murfit for 7 years; initially as a Carpenter, progressing to Site Supervisor and has now been running sites himself for over 3 years.

Kamil has a hands on approach as a working foreman and has produced several high quality projects. He enjoys working with clients & professional parties on all residential projects.

Luke started with Grocott and Murfit in the joinery shop nearly 10 years ago.

He soon showed strong leadership qualities and took over managing the floor within a couple of years.

After 5 years in the workshop and successfully renovating his own home, Luke moved on to site work as a site carpenter.

Luke is one of the company's best site carpenters, taking responsibility for all aspects of carpentry work.

Luke has now progressed into site management where he is enjoying the additional responsibility.

His hard-working ethos and eye for quality make Luke an excellent role model for the rest of the team.

Steve has 33 years of experience in the building trade as a carpenter, after starting his apprenticeship at 16 (important to note, as I know he doesn’t look old enough otherwise!).

Over this time, he has had the opportunity to carry out all types of restoration and re-constructions on varying types of property from public houses to stately homes, with work ranging from specialist carpentry tasks to successfully managing large-scale construction projects.

Steve works closely with all involved on projects from the architects and engineers to guiding and motivating the tradesmen on projects to ensure seamless project execution.

Steve has worked in the construction industry for over 35 years. His passion for building began at a young age, helping his father — a builder himself — during weekends and school holidays.

This early hands-on experience sparked a lifelong interest in the trade.

He went on to complete a BTEC National Certificate in Building Studies, covering a wide range of disciplines including estimating, quantity surveying, architecture, design, and structural engineering.

Steve continued working alongside his father for many years, delivering extensions, conversions, and renovations — including an award-winning project that placed third in a regional competition.

Since joining Grocott & Murfit over three years ago, Steve has brought a wealth of practical knowledge and experience to the team.

He has since progressed into a Site Supervisory role, where he plays a key part in maintaining quality, coordination, and high standards on site.

Matthew has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He began working alongside his father, building and renovating homes in remote rural locations.

He's a multi skilled tradesman but specialises in bricklaying and flintwork.

His experience ranges vastly from complex one-off new builds to sensitive renovations of Grade I and Grade II listed properties and historic landmarks.

Nathan has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. He has developed a strong reputation for reliability, practical expertise, and high-quality workmanship.

Initially completing his City and Guilds qualification in site carpentry, he has worked in diverse areas, from residential builds to large-scale commercial developments, as well housing maintenance for the country’s largest housing association.

He has also worked on some of the finest historical buildings in North Norfolk, using traditional materials and methods.

During this time, his experience has allowed him to mentor junior workers and contribute to improving productivity and standards on site. Nathan takes pride in his work and remains committed to delivering durable, well-constructed results on every project.

Oliver has been in bespoke, high-end furniture design and manufacture for over 30 years.

Oliver has worked in London for 3 years in interior design. Oliver has also worked as a workshop manager, exhibition installation fine finisher and in sales.

Oliver’s career to date has involved a high standard of finish and quality control expected by the clients. Oliver also holds a BA honour in furniture design

Jordan has been in construction for 13 years as a groundworker and machine operator.

Jordan has worked on many sites over that time, commercial and domestic, ranging from small extensions to multi-million-pound houses and factories.

Jordan earned his SSSTS qualification, first aid qualification, and his 360 Excavator CPCS card for 10 tonnes and above, with lifting ops.

Jordan always works to a very high standard and in the safest possible manner and leaves no stone unturned.

Luke has over two decades working in the specialist masonry sector on the tools, holding various qualifications including NVQ 6 Construction Contracting Operations and NVQ 7 in Senior Management.

As well as this, Luke holds a sought after MCIOB Chartered status, AssocRICS, ACABE. Luke has successfully worked on new and heritage masonry contracts, with values up to £750k, most notably working on heritage Tuckpointing in Victoria London.

Luke has a passion for masonry and this shows through his dedication and commitment in producing outstanding final results and problem solving on site.
