GROCOTT & MURFIT RAISED £50,500 COMPLETING THE NATIONAL THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE FOR PROSTATE CANCER UK!
In March 2024, over 20 Members of the Grocott & Murfitt team signed up to take part in The National Three Peaks Challenge in support of Prostate Cancer UK. With only 6 months and an ambitious target of £50,000, it was important for us to start raising money as quickly as possible.
1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, sadly this was the case for one of our senior site managers, Stu Taney in March 2022. Stu has been with the company for nearly 10 years and is thankfully now back on site, running some of our most prestigious projects after his successful operation in October 2022. The team completed all 3 peaks within 23 hours, 39 minutes, and with the help of friends, family, colleagues, and local businesses, managed to exceed our target, raising a total of £50,500. A true example of how we don’t just build homes, we help build communities, and most importantly we do it together
