Safe Landing Community Hub
Safe Landing Community Hub is a joint initiative developed by The Parachute Project and Grocott & Murfit, brought to life through their shared commitment to community wellbeing.
Based in the heart of Fakenham, Safe Landing is a welcoming space where children, young people, families, and the wider community can access emotional support, wellbeing resources, and opportunities to connect. As a unique community-led offering, Safe Landing is designed to deliver professional, needs-led support without the barriers and restrictions often faced by statutory and mainstream services — enabling a truly responsive, flexible approach to local needs.
Safe landing offers:
- Counselling and 1:1 support (confidential, therapeutic support for children, young people and parents/carers)
- Groups and workshops for children (age 6 and up), parents and professionals
- Training and Education
- Learning though play
- Supportive groups for parents and carers of children with SEND
- Youth groups and clubs
- Community venue hire (space available for local groups, charities and services to host events, workshops and activities)
“I am passionate about ensuring that young people can access the right professional support at the right time to help them with their emotional wellbeing. Through The Parachute Project, we are continually evolving our work to drive meaningful change in the field of children’s mental health. By forming a unique partnership with Grocott & Murfit, we now have the opportunity to develop an innovative, community-based service that is accessible and sustainably funded. Together, through Safe Landing Community Hub, we are committed to making a genuine difference accessible to all.”
Abi Chamberlain Director of The Parachute Project and Building Norfolk CIC
“Abi’s enthusiasm for her work is truly inspiring, and I was confident she would be instrumental in driving our initiatives forward. We are now genuinely enthusiastic about uniting people and effecting change; together, we can achieve so much more!”
Daniel Grocott Director of Grocott and Murfit and Building Norfolk CIC
“We have no doubt that this new hub will be a source of hope and transformation for many others, just as it has been for our family.”
