Staff Raise £10,000 Through Office Fitness Challenge
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Grocott and Murfit staff came together to support vulnerable people in the community through a dedicated office fundraising initiative that combined fitness, wellbeing and giving back via Building Norfolk.
Colleagues across the business took part in a press-up challenge, committing to complete press ups to help raise funds and supporting individuals during a difficult and uncertain time. The initiative not only raised vital funds, but also encouraged staff to stay active, look after their mental wellbeing and remain connected while navigating the challenges of the pandemic.
Thanks to the collective effort and generosity of those involved, the challenge successfully raised an incredible £10,000 for Building Norfolk C.I.C. The funds were directed towards supporting vulnerable people who were most in need of help and resources during COVID-19.
One member of the Grocott and Murfit’s team shared their experience of the challenge:
“It was such a positive thing to be part of during a really tough period. The challenge gave us a reason to stay active, support each other and feel like we were making a real difference for people who needed help the most. Knowing we raised £10,000 together made all the press ups worth it.”
This initiative reflected Grocott and Murfit’s commitment to wellbeing, both within the workplace and across the wider community and demonstrated how coming together, even in challenging circumstances, can create a meaningful and positive impact.
